Not that we at anotherf1podcast are conspiracy theorists. But this seasons climax went right to the final corner wire, just like them pesky advertisers would like.
I’m not saying that Bernie somehow manipulated it - but I just found an eerily precient wish in the Foreword of last years “Official Season Review”

“The nice thing is that best race we’ve had for a long time was the last race [of the 2007 season], because that’s what people remember. A finish like that is always my dream - I’ve always said we wanted the result on the last corner of the last lap…”
It’s over - it’s gone to the wire again, and a couple of days on the champagne/lager/guinness/glock hangovers have faded and our boy who is not always our boy but sometimes is our boy is finally world champion.
We boo far too many people to be good sportsfans and we get hysterical as one of the better seasons of formula one goes down to the very last corner
crumbs
Kevin and Terry watched the Grand Prix somewhere very special, and, if truth be told, got a little too excited about it all
The race itself went well for Lewis, who didn’t fuck anything up, well done he. they also discuss the funniest press conference of the year.
Now there’s only one race left and he has a seven point lead, that seems familiar…

The official F1 website has released extra footage of three of the contentious incidents from Sundays Grand Prix watch them here. Obviously you should make your own mind up but for me the most important on board shots from Bourdais car are not shown.
Kevin & Terry got up early and watched the race and then tiredly talk about this eventful Japanese Grand Prix, Alonso’s second win of the season and Hamilton using the championship lead as an excuse to fuck it all up (again)
