Every F1 blog today will be talking about the new link up between Team Lotus and Caterham cars.

Tony Fernandes has bought the company and it looks set to feature as part of the f1 team in the near future, though slightly strangely it has not been mentioned quite how.

We have been invited/blagged in/lied to a nice lady to get to be in the press conference and we have interviewed two (count them) bona fide F1 drivers and seen a team lotus liveried up caterham whizz round and one of those F1 things too.

The link up seems like a win win for TL, if the court case goes badly they have a whole other way to go, if it goes well then buying back Colin Chapmans old cars and competing to get lotus cars onto the Market at a far lower price than what Dani Behr is aiming for then it’s just about the biggest fuck you we can imagine.
