Christian Horner is said to be livid at the new rule changes brought in for the silverstone GP this weekend.

The rule applies to all teams, but Red Bull feels its been aimed specifically at them to stop their 2011 dominance.

The new rule states that from the 2011 British Grand Prix onwards any technical staff member called “Adrian Newey” would be deemed illegal and any team employing someone by that name could face a lengthly race ban.

Teams have been checking their payroll for such staff but, as suspected, only Red Bull will be affected, this might have a severe impact on the rest of the year.

Red Bull are said to be working on finding a loophole and their Adrian Newey is rumored to be marrying Geri Halliwell and taking her name, which although wouldn’t be breaking the actual rule, would certainly be against the ‘spirit’ of it.
