After a long car journey to a gig in Beverley in Yorkshire, Terry Saunders and Kevin Shepherd, two standup comedians, ran out of things to say.

One of them tentatively mentioned a reference to Formula One as the small talk faltered. The others eyes lit up. It appeared they were both geeky nutso fans of the sport.

So they decided to do a podcast. An antidote to the slick (yet often incredibly dull) F1 podcasts knocking about.

anotherf1podcast doesn’t have scoops, or insider knowledge, they sometimes miss qualifying because they overslept. but they have an unrivalled passion for the sport (apart from the oversleeping bit).

This year it’s all new – there’ll be features (maybe), interviews (hopefully), reports on practices, qualifying and the race (should be) and news (shamelessly ripped from the rest of the net.

Mainly though, it’s funny – most things about formula one (Mosley’s bedroom antics aside) aren’t.
