And the BBC comes to the rescue again, it is 13:27 british time and I am watching the practice that was on at 6am on the red button with glorious commentary from Maurice Hamilton and Ian Phillips.
No huge surprises in this practice, Rosberg still top, McLaren still woeful.
But as we’ve had 3 hours of running we can work out some of the things that Formula one have so far gotten wrong and right this year.

Bless the BBC, they’ve not yet played The Chain but they’re doing well already, showing the practice on the red button and using the five live sports extra commentary.
And as the cars tentatively peeled out of the pits for the first time proper this year, we at anotherf1podcast can confirm they look daft.

2008 Australian Grand Prix
Kevin and Terry have had a sleepover and have uploaded perhaps the first podcast reviewing the Australian Grand Prix in all of the world, it is also the most rambling and sleep deprived.
The GP had its fair share of action and turned the formbook on its side for a lie down (which is what we need).
David Coulthard did a swear, the lack of traction control did make a bloody difference, Webber stayed lucky, Terry being on BBC Radio five live and we have a great Nico Rosberg competition.

No drivers ever seem to cut the corner before the long straight – you can on a playstation and it will save you four seconds a lap.
In it’s traditional season opening slot the Australian Grand Prix carries all the hope and expectations of the off-season. will the rule changes actually make a difference? Do any of the cars have funny colours (or earth logos)? How are the BBC doing?
